(Received Jan. 10, at 8 p.m.) Newspapers throughout Japan are forbidden to mention the settlement of foreign exchange contracts or the mode settlement, whether by the of gold or by loans abroad, or by putting the loss on certain banks or persons. The latest estimate of gold shipment is 170,000,000 yen.
