LURE OF THE ANTARCTIC
SIR HUBERT WILKINS'S PLANS NEW YORK, January 9. (Received Jan. 10, at 5.5 p.m.) A message from Seattle states that Sir Hubert Wilkins is visiting there to consult aeroplane officials and engineers regarding plans of a new type of aeroplane which is to be used on another exploration trip. He said that the plans of a new submarine had been drawn under his direction, and he announced that he contemplated making a trip in March after his return from Europe.
