WORLD ARMAMENTS
THE GENEVA CONFERENCE INDIA’S REPRESENTATIVES. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, January 7. India will be represented at the Disarmament Conference by Sir Samuel Hoare (who will act ns leader in so far as his parliamentary and other duties may permit), the Aga Khan, and Sir Henry Wheeler (a member of the Council of India). They will be accompanied by four expert advisers. AUSTRALIA’S DELEGATE. CANBERRA, January 8. (Received Jan. 8, at 9 p.m.) The Federal Cabinet announces the appointment of the Attorney-general (Mr J. G. Latham) ns the Commonwealth representative at the Disarmament Conference at. Geneva. Mr Latham will be unable to leave for some time, and in the meantime Sir Granville Ryric (High Commissioner) will represent Australia. Mr Lyons, Mr Latham, and Sir George Pearce having - been appointed a subcommittee of the Federal Cabinet to examine the disarmament proposals.
