PRICES REASONABLE YEAR OPENING HOPEFULLY. LONDON, January G. (Received Jan. 7, at S p.m.) “Wool prices to-day arc reasonable, ami there is no fear of a severe drop as iu recent years,” said Mr Henry Ayrton in his presidential address to the Wool Federation at Bradford. Whether the Home trade was able to absorb the largely increased production remained to be seen. Financial difficulties were already increasingly blocking exports, nevertheless the year was opening hopefully.— Times Cable.
