CANTERBURY TOURNAMENT. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, December 29. The Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association’s annual championships were concluded to-day. The finals resulted as f °Men’s Singles—C. Angas beat I. A. Ep'iv 6 —2, 4 —o, 6 —3. Women’s Singles,—Miss M. Wake beat Miss M. Andrew, 6—2, 5—7, 6—3 Men’s Doubles.—C Angas and H. Dvmond beat J. H. W. Sheppard and I. Rhodes-Williams, o—6, 6—4, 9—/. Yv omen’s Doubles. —Misses V ake and Andrew beat Mrs V. C. Browne, and Miss L. Bergham, 6 —4, 6—4. , Mixed Doubles. —Miss Andrew Rod Seay beat Miss Wake and Sheppard, B—6, 4—6,9-7.
