DIVORCE UNDER DIFFICULTIES
It is reported from Bucharest that the bursting of one of the boilers of the heating apparatus in the Palace of Justice has resulted in the postponing of a number of lawsuits. A spell of cold weather made it impossible for the hearings to be concluded in an unheated hall. Recently, however, a plaintiff in a divorce case made up his mind to get his verdict without further delay. He arrived at the Law Court with an electric stove, which he put into action, to the_ great amusement of the public, and in the genial warmth created the hearing was able to be concluded. The verdict was given in his favour.
