NEW ZEALAND’S PART. (From Our Own Correspondent.) LONDON, November 18. The High Commissioner and the New Zealand Produce Boards are co-operating as far as possible, in the “ Buy British campaign inaugurated by the Empire Marketing Board. The campaign is primarily for Home goods, though “Empire overseas ** is included. It lies with the dominions to push their own individual goods. . . The various boards have got into touch with retail shops, and have supplied distinctive window material, and the Dairy Board is also issuing a large quantity of its new butter and cheese price tickets. Special paragraphs regarding New Zealand produce are being sent to a large section of the press by the New Zealand publicity officer. The windows in the New Zealand Office in the Strand have been specially dressed for the occasion—one depicting the dairy industry and the landing of our butter in England, and the other lollows the line of the campaign with the invitation in large letters: "Buy an Etnpirb Tour; spend your next holiday in New Zealand.” The tourist attractions are well displayed, and in the foreground are two large cutout photographs in colour of a New Zealand Maori chief. In regard to the general campaign, the Produce Boards are also advertising in the respective trade papers inviting wholesalers and retailers to apply for display material, and also to include New Zealand produce prominently in their stocks of Empire goods.
