PUPILS’ RECITAL

To-night, at His Majesty’s Theatre, Miss Anita Winkel’s pupils will provide an entertainment. An excellent programme has been arranged, including popular songs, comedy sketches, ballet ensembles, recitals, etc. Featured on the bill will be a scene from a well-known Shakespearian work. Dresses of a most uncommon character are being made specially for the evening, and it is promised that the costuming will be one of the attractions of the presentation. An efficient orchestra has been formed to play under the leadership of Miss Rita Holmes, who will also fill the position of one of the stage accompanists, Miss. Aroha D. Allan being her colleague in this task.
