DUNEDIN CENTRE MEETS A meeting of the Dunedin Bowling Centre waa held last evening in the V.M.C.A. Mr J. Allan presided over a good attendance of delegates. The president presented new badges to past presidents of the Dominion of New Zealand Bowling Association as follows: Messrs J. J. Marlow (1914), C. Russell Smith (1918), W. NicOlson (1922), H. F. M. Mercer (1926), and.C. J. Payne (1930). Councillors’ badges were presented to Messrs D. C. Cameron and A. J. Sullivan. In accordance with hia notice of motjon, Mr J. Forster moved—" That the motion moved at the annual meeting of delegates by Mr W. Morrison, and agreed to, be rescinded, and that the delegates further consider the question of postponed matches.” Mr Morrison’s motion was—" That any Saturday interclub matches not played for any reason be not completed.”—After a brief discussion it was decided to leave the matter in the hands of the Executive Committee, The president submitted a suggested new system for the singles championship at the Easter tournament.—After a short discussion, it was decided to refer the matter to the Executive Committee for a report. A revised schedule of the rules and constitution of the Dunedin Centre of the Dominion of New Zealand Bowling Association waa submitted and was adopted. Reference was made to the lose suffered recently by the Auckland Centre in the death of its president. Mr J. M. Thomson, who was an ex-Dominion councillor, and it was decided to send a letter of sympathy to the Auckland Centre. EXECUTIVE MEETING. The Executive Committee met after the business of the centre meeting had been completed, Mr J. Allan occupying the chair. A copy of the minutes of a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Dominion Association was received. Letters were received from Mr W Stewart, M.P., and the Minister of Public Works (Mr W. B. Taverner)-, stating that they would be pleased to give their support to the centre’s representations regarding daylight saving when the matter came before the House. A key was supplied for the draw for the Four-rink Championship, and the draw was completed. ,
