SIR HALL CAINE
ESTIMATE OF FORTUNE LONDON, September 3. (Received Sept. 3, at 11.50 p.m.) Sir Hall Caine’s fortune is estimated at £250,000, and, according to the NewsChronicle, the will, which occupies 40 foolscap pages, is mostly in favour of the family. For years he was receiving between £SOO and £6OO a week from his writings. The world sales of his novels exceeded 10,000,000.
