INDUSTRIES FAIR
THE BOOKING OF SPACE PRACTICALLY ALL TAKEN. (British Official Wireless.) . (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) RUGBY, September 2. (Received Sept. 3, at 5.5 p.m.) According to the general manager of the British Industries Fair, the Birmingham and London sections of which will be opened simultaneously on February 22, the week beginning August, 23 was one of the best weeks ip the history of the fair for space bookings. The space taken for the Birmingham sec tion, which will contain exhibits of hardware and of the engineering, electrical and heavy industries, amounted to over 10,000 square feet. Altogether 200,000 square feet has now been definitely booked, leaving unlet only about 40,000 square feet, of which some part has been provisionally reserved.
