NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. PROPOSED TOUR OF INDIAN TEAM. • (Per United Press association.) V. CHRISTCHURCH, ■September 3. ■ The Ncw 1 Zealand -Tfackey Association had before it to-night correspondence from Australia referring to the negotiations for a tour of the Indian team. The letters were taken in committee. In effect, the Australian Association accepted the proposals of the New Zealand Association for financial and other arrangements for the tour, Each association will pay equal contributions towards the expenses. DOMINION TOURNAMENT. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, September 3. The Dominion ladies’ hockey tournament was continued to-day. Results:— A Section,—Eastern Southland 5, Southland 1; Mauawatu 3, Auckland Country 2; Wairarapa 4, Akitio nil. B Section— Wellington 1, Rotorua nil; Wanganui 1, Poverty Bay nil; Auckland City -3, Ruahine 2. .
