NEW APPLICATION DEFERRED COMPROMISE BETWEEN PARTIES. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, August 8. By mutual agreement the application by the Dairy Factory Companies’ Association for a new award in the northern district, and the application by the employees for exclusion from the 10 per cent, cut, have been' deferred until the end of the year, when, failing the parties agreeing at a conference, the court w iU grant a special hearing of the tlispute at Wellington or New Plymouth, Local disputes in other districts will also be postponed pending the conference, Yesterday Mr Justice Frazer suggested that the parties should confer, which they did, and this morning Mr J.
