GANGSTER METHODS ADOPTED A SEVERE HANDLING. LONDON, July 21. (Received July 22, at 1.15 a.m.) Adopting Chicago gangster methods, armed men kidnapped the Rev. David Bennie, a Scottish clergyman, at Corneay, in the County of Cavan. Mr Bennie, who was in his night attire, was bundled into a car and severely handled, and made to apologise for a speech he made on July 12.
