FLOOD SPREADING
MURRAY RIVER OVERFLOWS SETTLERS MAKING FOR HIGH COUNTRY. ADELAIDE, July 17. Settlers along the Murray River are moving to higher land, to escape the flood waters which are spreading over the low-lying country. Settlers in some areas are building banks around their homes.
