ALCOHOL A STIMULANT?
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —The long list of scientific authorities given by.“ New Zealander” on the effect of alcohol on the human body deserves all respect. The amazing thing to me is that she should think that Mr Terrv is not cognisant of. all that. It seems to confirm the conclusion I bad already arrived at that “ New Zealander s fanatical, obsession on the subject blinded her to the unfairness of the attack, she made upon Mr Terry. She herself is, however, to be respected for her honesty of purpose and for the labour and time that she has evidently given to the subject. I regret I cannot say as much tor and “Safety First.” Their deliberate misrepresentation of my letters deserves nothing but contempt, and fully warrants the description of their methods P re * viously given by your correspondent “Truth, Not Bias.”—l am, etc..
