CLYDE NOTES

(From Our Own Correspondent.) CLYDE, July 15. THE WEATHER. Severe weather conditions were experiened last week in a series of heavy frosts and low temperature readings. Some hoar frost and ice was in evidence, and an indication of the severity may be gauged from the fact that several householders had burst pipes, while in one instance the hot water cistern collapsed. A change is now apparent, and rain is falling, , though further frosts at the moment seem likely. ~ REUNION EXECUTIVE. ■ A meeting of the reunion executive took place at the schoolhouse on Monday, and was presided over by the chairman (Mr H. After a short discussion a small sub-committee was appointed to draw up a programme to be submitted for approval at a further meeting next week.
