WESTERN CHAMPIONSHIP HAGEN FIRST ROUND LEADER. NEW YORK, June Is. (Received June 19, at 9 p.m.) At Dayton, Ohio, Walter Hagen assumed the lead in the Western Open Golf Championship on the Maimi Valley course, taking a record of 68 on the first round. Dudley was second with 69.
