HIGHLAND DANCERS AND PIPERS
CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING The second annual meeting of the Dunedin Highland Dancers and Pipers’ Club was held in the Y.M.C.A. on Saturday. The president (Mr Munro) welcomed the members present, and expressed his satisfaction at the attendance, which was very t encouraging to the executive. The president reviewed the club’s activities for the year, which had been in every way a prosperous one. The presenting of the report and balance sheet was an occasion for a general expression of satisfaction from members, who thought the future welfare of the club looked bright. During the evening several valuable suggestions were made with a view to increasing the activities of the club. The following office-bearers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr George Munro; vice-presidents—Messrs G. Anderson, Daniel Bruce, J. T. Grant, J. Gold, A. MTvor, A. MTVlillan, W. G. Smith, and W. S. Steele; official piper, Mr E. M*Kenzie; honorary solicitor, Mr T. O’Shea; secretary, Mr R. Burns; treasurer, Mr N. MacPherson; committee — Messrs P. D. Duff, E. M'Kenzie, G. Marr, W. Fraser, A. MacCaskill, W. Matheson, Colin M'Kenzie, arid A. Scott; auditors, Messrs T. Gilchrist and A. MTjennan.
