GUILTY OF ESPIONAGE
RUMANIANS SENTENCED ’WORKING FOR RUSSIA. BUCHAREST, June 13. (Received June 14, at 8 p.m.) The trial has been concluded of many persons who were charged with espionage on behalf of Russia, and the principal accused, Major Varzaru, was sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment, with military degradation. Five others were sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment, while seven were acquitted..
