PORT CHALMERS NEWS
RAILWAY STATION LIGHTS At the last meeting of the Port 1 Chalmers Borough Council a complaint was made that the Upper Port Chalmers Railway Station was not lighted when the seaside train arrived on Sunday nights. There was evidently a misunderstanding, as it is stated that the station was lighted for several Suriolgy nights before the matter was mentioned at the council meeting. The station is now lighted for the seaside train, for the north-bound night express, arid also for the night goods train.
