Pronto Bingen is reported to be likely to show improved form. Erin's Lynn is again amongst the active members of G. S. Smith’s’ stable, . .J. J. Rey de Oro, with 12, has* the largest number of representatives in the Great Northern Derby, Wrack and Nelson Derby being, next with nine and seven respectively.

'The new. volume of, the Trotting ■ Stud Book is-in the printet’s hands, and will be on sale shortly. The work of compilation has been done by the’ office staff of the Trotting Association. Native Prince is now on a mark from which it will be very hard /for *him to succeed. There are many improving young pacers, who are continually coming ipto the best company, and unless the back-markers show considerable improvement they possess very little chance of success. J. J. Kennerley has the Native King pacer looking in fine order. T. G. Fox’s pacer by The Sheik from Lovebird is furnishing into a qualitylooking mare. She was big and angular when first put, into work, and, consequently, has not been hurried in her preparation. She has a good way of doing mer work, and looks like making a more than useful pacer. Her owner favours the trotters, but he has a couple of pacers in his stable at present,
