The Mayor (Mr R. S. Black) returned to Dunedin last night from a business visit to Wellington. Mr J. Oliver returned to Auckland by the express yesterday morning. Mr R. B. Tennent, field superintendent, Department of Agriculture, travelled by yesterday’s express from Dunedin to Oamaru.
Mr A. Chisholm, of the Bank of New Zealand staff, Dunedin, his received advice that he is to be transferred to . the Riverton branch of the bank. He will take up his new duties early in July. Mr Leslie G. Moss, a director of H. W. Moss, Ltd., Wellington, is leaving on the Rotorua on Tuesday for a trip to England and the Continent.
