It is the remains of an eight-mile system built for war use. * Lipsticks have a knack of staining table napkins and handkerchiefs rather badly. A German manufacturer has, therefore,' put on the market paper “ lipstick serviettes ” so small that quite a large supply can be carried in an ordinary handbag.
