The Nautilus parted company with the United States coastguard cutter Pont Chartrain in the Gulf Stream, 1000 miles east of the Pollock Rip lightship. . i A radio message stated that the Nautilus was proceeding at an easy speed, aided by the current,- towards London.
LADY WILKINS’S CONFIDENCE,
NEW YORK, June 11 (Received June 12, at 0.15 a.m.)
Before sailing by the Mauretania on Wednesday to meet her husband, Lady Wilkins said she was confident that the Mduretania and the submarine Nautilus would meet somewhere in the north Atlantic. She would communicate with her husband by wireless and see him through glasses. She was confident that the expedition to the North Pole would be successful.
