STOWAWAY FROM NEWCASTLE (Per United Press Association.i WELLINGTON, June 11.' Under the Immigration Restriction Act of last session Ernest Vowell, aged 24, a trimmer, who was found on the Katoa, having stowed away from Newcastle, was to-day made the subject of a deportation order by. the magistrate (Mr E. Page). A piece of verse found on the accused was handed to the magistrate with the remark that, while not exactly seditious, the fact that he carried it about with him meant that the accused was probably in agreement with the sentiments expressed in it.
