THE CANADIAN MOVEMENT ABSORBING THE UNEMPLOYED. OTTAWA, June 9. •. The baek-to-thc-land movement initiated by the Minister of Immigration and Colonisation (Mr Gordon) has succeeded in placing 7600 unemployed single men on farms in Canada to the end of last month, in addition'to 1800 families which have been placed on selected farms.
