The strange procedure of a coffin being opened in church took, place at Long Cross, near Chertsey, England, by permission of Canon Tringham, some tune ago. The coffin contained the body of Miss Christine Tucker, who had died in hospital in London after coming from abroad. When it was opened relatives kissed the face,' and a photograph and some trinkets were placed in the coffin before it was sealed again.
