G. W. Carr, £1 6s Id, for goods supplied, with costs (10s). , JUDGMENT SUMMONSES. Para Rubber Company, Ltd., y. A. E. Laney, claim for £3 10s 6d.—The defendant was ordered to pay the amount with costs (8s), in default four days’ imprisonment. The Reliable Loan and Investment Corporation, Ltd., v. A. E. Laney, claim for £4 5s 3d. —The defendant was ordered to pay the amount, with costs (8s), in default five days’ imprisonment. Elizabeth M‘Ara (Mr E. J. Anderson) v. Cecil Campbell (Mr G. T. Bay lee) claim for £6 rent due to May 17, 1930. The defendant entered a counter-claim .for £45 10s on the grounds that on February 24, .1930, the plaintiff had let him a furnished house for 12 months, and that on April 10 the plaintiff removed certain furniture from the house, in- consequence of which the defendant was unable to continue as a boarding-house keeper. The loss of profits from April 10, 1930, until February 24, 1931, at £1 per week would amount to £45 10s. —After evidence along the lines of the claim and the counterclaim had been heard the magistrate gave judgment .for plaintiff on the claim and the counterclaim, with costs.
