CHINESE STUDENTS. HUNDREDS ARRESTED IN JAPAN. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) KOBE, February 16. On October 19 and 29 300 Chinese, most of whom were students at Japanese universities, were arrested on charges of indulging in Communist activities. The hearing of the charges was concluded yesterday, and 32 of the accused were committed for trial. Meanwhile many have been deported. The charges against the accused alleged that it was their intention to foment a revolution, first in China, and afterwards throughout the world. In connection with a Japanese Communist it was mentioned that he had planned to blow up the Chinese Legation.
