TEACHERS’ CUP COMPETITION. Dunback played Waikouaiti in the Teachers’ Cup competition. Dunback, batting first, made 70, Waikouaiti replying with 81. The principal scorers for Dunback were C. Rouxelle (26 not out) and G. Glover (24). Bowling for Waikouaiti, G. Brown took 4 wickets for 15 runs, and A. Townsend 4 for 32. Batting for Waikouaiti, Higgins (13), B. Buttar (22), and G. Brown (15) were the principal scorers. Bonding for Dunback, A. M'Neill took 5 wickets for 26, W. Glover 4 for 10, and T. Frater 1 for 2, Dunback played Macreas, at Dunback, the game being drawn. Macraes, batting first, made the good total of 146, the principal scorer being J. Caskie, with a good innings of 103. His score included nine sixes. A. Mills (21) also batted well. Bowling for Dunback, W. Glover took 3 wickets for 19 runs, A. M'Neill 1 for 30, and H. Glover 2 for 27. Dunback replied with 39 for six wickets, the highest scorers being C. Rouxelle (11) and A. M'Neill (10). Bowling for Macraes, J. Caskie took 5 wickets tor 9 runs, and W. Mills 1 for 1. WAIPIATA DEFEATS OTUREHUA. The Waipiata cricket team gained a very narrow victory over the Oturehua team on the former’s ground last Saturday. The following are the scores:— Oturehua: W. Becker, b Bleach, 14; A.
