War lias been declared in Paris on brides who arrive late for their weddings. Cardinal Verdier lias instructed -all priests to wait 15 minutes, and then to go on with the nuptial Mass, whether the bride is present 4 or not. Cardinal Verdier says: “Marriage is a sacred institution, i,nto which one must go well prepared. It is not a fashion show.”
