The barometer continues steady at SO.OOin. WELLINGTON, February 10. To-day was sunny, with little cloud until nightfall, but a cold, light southerly was in evidence. CHRISTCHURCH, February 10. The weather to-day was sunny. It was calm in the morning, with a strong E.N.E. breeze toward evening. The highest temperature during the day was 50.7 deg. The barometer was steady at 30.15.
