TITLE OF “MISS EUROPE.” AVON BY FRENCH GIRL. (United Press ■ Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) PARIS, February 5. (Received Feb. 6, at 9 p.m.) Mademoiselle Jeanne Juilla, a 20-year-old French beauty, won the title of “ Miss Europe ” from beauty queens representing 16 nations. The German representative was second, and Miss Betty Mason, a 23-year-old English girl, third, i Mademoiselle Juilla is a tall, slim brunette, with bluish green eyes. She was first selected by a Gascony jury, and was elected to represent France from 350 candidates.
