RACING IN AUSTRALIA.

THE RANDWICK MEETING. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, January 26. (Received Jan. 26, at 10 p.m.) The Randwick races were concluded today. Following are the results:— Knox Stakes (for three-year fillies).— Tantrum 8.5 (Johnstone) 1, Carry On 8.5 (M'Carten) 2, Wedding Feast 8.5 (Knox) 3. Fourteen started. Won by threequarters of a length. Time Imin 37|sec. Anniversary Handicap.—lnducement 7.7 (Pratt) 1, Voleuse 7.9 (Reynolds) 2, Star Dor 7.11 (Johnstone) 3. Fourteen started. Jeypore, Valparaiso. Ralston, Exact, Star Dor, Voleuse, Zeeland, and Inducement turned into the, straight almost together, with Royal Smile putting in a hot challenge from the rear, but he faded out. Inducement came with a fine run, and won by a length and a-half from Voleuse, with Star Dor a head away third, and Zeeland fourth. Time 2min 32sec. Kurnell Handicap.—Sir Chrystopber 8.9 (J. Munro) 1, Panola 8.12 (Pike) 2, Camargo 7.3 (Knox) 3. Thirteen started, including Gay Ballerina. Casque Dor, and Veilmond. Won by half a length. Tupe Imin Usee. THE WILLIAMSTOWN MEETING. Following is the result of the principal race:— Australia Day Cup.—Lampra 8.8 (R. Wilson) 1, Stowe 7.12 (A. Wilson) 2, Lord Essex 7.12 (Brady) 3. Thirteen started, including Carradale and Miradonna. Won by two lengths. Time 2min 7sec.
