THE ASHBURTON CARNIVAL. (Per United Press Association.) ASHBURTON, January 26. For the New Zealand junior and intermediate amateur swimming championship meeting at Ashburton on Friday and Saturday next, 100 entries have been received for the championships from all centres, as follows:—lntermediate boys 53, girls 16; junior boys 14, girls 17. There are 96 entries in the handicap events.
