—A boarding bouse keeper at Weymouth, England, who advertised for a housemaid, received a reply from a girl who asked for £45 a year, every Sunday and three evenings a week off, and a garage for her motor cycle. —The British Chancellor of the Exchequer states that silver coin now in circulation, issued , under “ The Coinage Age Act, 1920,” is about £38,000,000 face value, and the bullion content is worth £5,600,000.
