(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 25. The Wellington tennis championships were completed on Saturday in dull, windy weather. The result of the finals was as follows: — ■ Men’s Singles.—D. G. ..'France beat R. M‘L. Perkins, 6—3, 6—o, 6—2. Women’s Singles,—'Miss D. Nicholls beat Miss M. East, o—2, 6—l. Men’s Doubles.—A. L. and D. 0. France beat 0. M. Watt and H- N. Burns, 6—l, Women’s Doubles.—Misses D. Nicholls and D. Howe beat Mrs Whately and Miss E. Brady, 7—5, 6—4, ‘ Mixed Doubles.—A. L. France and Miss D, Nicholls beat D. G. France and Miss E. Brady, 6—2, 6—3. WAIRARAPA TOURNAMENT. (Per United Press Association.) ' MASTERTON, January 25. The Wairarapa Lawn Tennis Association’s annual tournament was practically concluded on Saturday, when the championship finals were played. The following are the results:--Men’s Singles.—N, R. 0. Wilson (Wellington) beat Dymond (Christchurch), M 0.0 0 2 Men’s 1 Doubles. —N. R. C. Wilson and Sandrall (Wellington) beat (Hawke’s Bay) and Wheeler (Wellington), 6 —2, 6—o, 6—4. - - w .„. Ladies' Singles.—Miss :Whyte (Wellington) beat Miss Gibson (Timaru), 9—7, ° Mixed Doubles.—N. R. C. Wilson and Miss Todd beat Lowry and Miss Gibson, 6—4, 2—6, 6—2. ,
