DOMESTIC PRELATES APPOINTED. \Peb United Press AssoaAiioN.j WELLINGTON, January 23. Archbishop Redwood has received advice from Rome that it has pleased his Holiness the Pope to raise to the ranks of domestic prelates the Very Rev. Fathers Connolly, V.F. (Kilbirnie), Cullen, V.F. (Hawera), and M'Manus, V.F. (Palmerston North). This rank carries with it the title of Right Rev. Monsignor, and the wearing of the Purple. His Holiness has also awarded the Rev. Dr M'Crae (St. Joseph’s, Wellington) the Cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice (1.C.).
