The police authority of Colorado Springs, Colorado, has discovered that the following city ordinances are still in force because they are unrepealed silt is illegal to throw old shoes at newly married couples. No man or woman shall carry fire of any kind or an open flame on any public street. (Lighting a cigarette is thus a crime). No flag, banner, or bunting or similar insigna shall be placed in public parks. (The American flag is not excepted). Women’s hat pins shall not protrude more than an inch from the head. No person shall cut his or her hair on the city streets.
