SUNDAY SERVICES.

At First Church to-morrow the Rev.' W. Allen Stevely will preach in the morning on “The Old Supports,” and in the evening on “ A man’s a man for a’ that.” The evening service will be attended by members; of the Dunedin. Burns Club, who invite all Scotsmen to be present. Miss Margaret Howden will' sing, “O Thou That Tellest Good Tidings.” ; The Rev. A. R. Penn will conduct both services in the St. Clair Methodist Church to-morrow. “ Convictions that Make Life Great ” will be the Rev. W. H. Hocking’s sermon theme at the Dundas Street Methodist Church to-morrow evening. Miss Evelyn Shepherd will render a solo. Mr D.' Smith will conduct, the morning worship,; “ God’s Mercy to Pharaoh ” is the title; of Mr Nagel’s address for to-morrow, evening at York Place Hall. The Rev. L. M'Master will be the preacher at both services at Knox Church to-morrow. The Rev. J. A. Loehore will conduct both services.' in the Cargill Road Methodist Church to-morrow, preaching' on “The Primary Purpose of the Christian ,Ghurch” : at 11a.m., and on, "At the Background of , Life—God,” at- ,6.30? p.m. At the United Congregational Church the Rev. James ,M. Snieeth will preach in the morning on “ The Rule •of the House” and “Encouragement.” His; evening subject will be “L.ad‘” —-.Mrs L. J. Smith will be the soloist. The Rev. George Miller will conduct both’ services at the North-East Valley Presbyterian Church to-morrow. The morning subject will be, “ Supposing Him to be the Gardener,” and the evening, “ Jesus Christ is the SamS Yesterday and To-day. and For Ever.” At the close of the evening service a short organ recital will be given by Mr W. Paget Gale. The Rev. G. Clement will conduct the morning service at Trinity Methodist Church, Stuart Street, tomorrow, and in the evening the Rev. H. E. Bellhouse will be the preacher, taking as his subject, “A Remarkable Conception of Life.” Mr John Kennedy will render the solo “Faith” and an anthem will be rendered by the choir. The Rev. John Shaw, of Timaru will conduct the services at the Congregational Church, Moray Place. In the morning he will speak on “The Day of Small Things,” and the subject of the evening address will be “ The Ghostly Man.”
