A woman whose only son has been dead for some years and was buried in the churchyard near her home, has told a story in England about her elderly retriever. From time to time she is in the habit of taking flowers to put upon her son’s grave. The woman always cuts the flowers and leaves them in the kitchen till the evening, when she walks down to the churchyard. Whenever her dog sees these flowers in the kitchen he disappears. > The woman, on arriving at the churchyard, finds him lying over her son’s grave.
