OBITUARY
MISS ALMA RUBENS. FORMER FILM ACTRESS. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LOS ANGELES, January 21. (Received Jan. 22, at !) p.m.) The death, from pneumonia on Wednesday, is announced of Miss Alma Rubens, a former film actress. MR F. COCKERILL. The death occurred at Mastcrton on Saturday of Mr F. Cockerill, who had been a resident of the town for about four years (states the Dominion). A native of Otago, Mr Cockcrill spent many years of his life in Dunedin, where he was an active and prominent Oddfellow. He leaves a widow and one daughter.
