THE “MESSIAH.’’
The final rehearsal of soloists, chorus, and orchestra for the Dunedin Choral ' Society’s presentation to-night of Handel’s - Messiah was held in the Town Hall last night. The soloists were in excellent' voice, and each sang with ease, accuracy. ■ an li. The orchestra’s playing of v the Pastoral Symphony waa remarkably ’ fine. Dr Galway brought his instrumentalists down to almost a whisper, and the •fleet vm remarkable.
