NEW ZEALAND BUTTER

MARKET IN BRITAIN. AN ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, November 27. The New , Zealand Butter Importers’ Association resolved to advertise and to urge the; trade to push the sale of Dominion butter, pointing out 'that 70,000 dairy farmers would be faced with ruin if the present- prices continue. It expressed the opinion that the existing retail price of la' 2d per lb had stimulated consumption and had practicallycleared the ,old accumulation, giving better prospects for the impending heavy arrivals on the market, which was controlled by the law of supply and demand. It also adopted a resolution expressing the opinion that any attempt at artificial control, like price fixation, would accentuate the difficulties. It is understood that a similar campaign is contemplated on behalf of Australian butter. i
