It was boisterone and showery on Saturday, and calm and fine to-day. The barometer now stands .at 30.40 m. WELLINGTON. October 5. Saturday in' Wellington was sunny with a light southerly. During the night the wind changed to the north but the sky Remained cleat to-day, completing a pleasant week-end. • . CHRISTCHURCH, October S. The weather over the week-end has been fine. ’On Saturday the sky was completely overcast with a cool wind from the south-west. Unbroken sunshine has prevailed to-day with a fresh breeze from the north-east. The baromter is falling, the present reading being 30.00 in.
