THE NAVAL PACT
RATIFICATION BY JAPAN. RESIGNATION OF MINISTER. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph-—Copyright.) TOKIO, October 3. (Received Oct. 4, at 0.15 a.m.) Immediately following the Imperial ratification of the Naval Pact, the Naval Minister (Mr Takarabe) visited the Premier and presented his resignation, thus confirming the previous general understanding that the supporters of Admiral Kato consented to withdraw their opposition to the treaty only conditionally on the Minister’s resigning.
