Owing to heavy weather the bar at Greymonth has been unworkable since last Friday and several steamers are bar-bound there! The Union Company’s Kahlka loaded for Wellington, and the Kalmlro for Hobart have been bar-bound for some days, as has the Anchor Company s steamer Bata. The Union steamer Kamona was unable to cross the bar for several days, but entered the port on Sunday afternoon to load for Wellington and Gisborne. iALINGO FROM COFF’S HARBOUR. The Union Company’s cargo steamer Kallngo arrived at Dunedin yesterday afternoon from Coff’s Harbour (New South Wales) via Lyttelton. The vessel was berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge a part cargo of bardwood. The Kallngo left Lyttelton on Blonday night, and was delayed by a strong southerly gale and heavy seas, which accounted for her lengthy trip of about 66 hours. Sho will dock at Port Chalmers to-day. and will sail later for Bluff 'and Greymouth. -, BIAUNGANUI FOB SAN FRANCISCO. The Union Company’s liner Maunganul, which has been withdrawn from the Intercolonial service, left Sydney yesterday afternoon for Wellington, Harolone*. Papeete and San Francisco. She Is due at Wellington on Monday morning. THE CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR. Advice received hy Blessra H. L. Tapley and Co. states that the Canadian Constructor left Montreal on September 26 with Canadian cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. Tlmaru and'Dunedin. The vessel is due at Auckland about November 8, and at Dunedin about November 20. BIAHANA LEAVES PANABIA. Cable advice received states that the Shaw, Saylll steamer Blahana,. which left Liverpool on September 13 for New Zealand ports, sailed from Balboa on September 28. The Blahana Is due at Auckland on October 20, and at Dunedin early In November. PORT GISBORNE HOMEWARD BOUND. Reported to have left Panama on September 29, the Commonwealth and ■ Dominion Lina motor ship Port Gisborne Is en route from Auckland .to ‘ London. She was despatched from Auckland on September’6.

ASHBURTON FROM NEW YORK. The A, and A.- Line’s chattered motor ship Ashburton Is reported to hare sailed from Colon on September 26, en route from New York to Auckland. The vessel has a general merchandise cargo for discharge at Auckland Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is scheduled to reach, Auckland on October 19, NARBADA BOUND FOR THE EAST. Haring completed discharge of her Eastern cargo, the Union Company’s Narbada left Bluff on September 27 for Newcastle,' where she will load coal for Singapore., She wIU then proceed to Calcutta to, tako the November-December loading for New Zealand ports. GOLDEN CLOUD PROM AMERICA. With nearly , 9000 tons of cargo. Including about 1,500,000 feet of lumber, much of which was piled on her dacks, as well as case oil and general merchandise; the Golden Cloud arrived at Auckland last Sunday from Los Angeles. The Golden Cloud Is due at Wellington on Monday to continue discharge, • She will proceed later to Lyttelton, Tlmaru and Dunedin to complete discharge. . LIMERICK AT' LONDON. The Union Company’s motor ship Limerick Is reported to have reached London on September 26 from Auckland. The vessel loaded refrigerated and general cargo under the auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company and was despatched from Auckland on August 20. PORT BRISBANE AT AUCKLAND. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line’s steamer Fort Brisbane, arrived at Auckland on Wednesday morning from New York, She was expected to leave the northern port yesterday for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge. On completion of discharge the Fort -Brisbane will commence her Homeward loading at Port Chalmers. She will subsequently load at Bluff, Tlmaru, Lyttelton, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Auckland, Napier and Wellington The vessel Is scheduled to clear Wellington finally - on November 10 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn. STEAMERS PROM MONTREAL. -The local office of’the Canadian National Steamships advises that the Canadian Highlander and Canadian Commander, from Montreal, are scheduled to reach Auckland on October 6 and October 10 respectively. The Canadian Highlander has cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Tlmaru, Dunedin and Bluff.
