Grey Hair From Wartime Worries HOW TO MAKE AN INEXPENSIVE MIXTURE TO DARKEN STREAKED OR FADED GREY HAIR. Grey streaked or faded hair can be quickly made black, brown, or light brown as you like it —by the use of the following splendid remedy made at home. Just get from the chemist a small box of Orlex Compound, loz of bay rum, and loz of glycerine, costing but a little. Mix these up yourself, using seven (7) ounces of water, and comb through the hair every other day until the desired shade is obtained. You need not hesitate to use this mixture, for it is perfectly harmless, does not rub off, and is neither sticky nor gummy. And besides, it is fine tor itchy dandruff, making the hair soft and glossy. It ought to make a grey-haired person look years and years younger,—Advt.
