(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) it * SHANGHAI, September SO. events of the greatest importance are expected to transpire in the next few days, possibly resulting in the retirement to private life of three of the foremost war lords in China—Chiang Kalshek, Yen Hsi-shan, and Feng Yu-hsian<» —thereby solving the military differ' ences and quarrels which are the basis Of most of the country’s misfortunes. The intervention of Chang Bench-Hang, the young Manchurian marshal, is expected to terminate all hostilities. He issued a_ peace circular demanding Chiang_, Kai-shek’s retirement, upon which Generals Feng and Yen agreed to do likewise.
